Sat here at a newly uncluttered desk, it always feels better to have a nice working environment. How do we keep this environment positive? At some point in each day we all feel distracted or uninspired, but with deadlines to meet there's only one option, to plough through.

Everyone knows the importance of having a Facebook page, if it's for personal use - it's a great way to keep in touch with friends. What about a business Facebook profile, how does that work, what should you post, how does it work? Many people are delving straight into it and eventually wind up feeling as though they are out of their depth.

Rushden Town Cricket Club in Northampton have now been sponsored by FDC for the 2011 season. Cricket is very much a community orientated sport; we all know that very patriotic buzz of sitting in the sun on a Saturday afternoon, a nice pint of beer in hand, watching a good cricket match. I am certainly going to head down soon to check out how good they are!

The past seven days have seen an intense period of chaos and unrest shake the world, including the devastated city of Christchurch, New Zealand, following last Tuesday's earthquake. With power and phone lines disabled through much of the city, people took to Facebook, Twitter and blogs to seek information about family and friends and to share their own experiences.
