Is Micro Formatting Important To SEO?

The question on many people’s lips is, how important is micro formatting to successful SEO and can micro formatting have significant gains in SERP?

Some businesses have used micro-formatting in the address when trying out different SEO methods and have seen positive results. Many companies struggle to get a client to page one of Google, but it is suggested that by adding micro formatting to the address in the footer of the site, there is a greater chance of your site moving to the top positions of Google and (if successful) can stay there for a good number of months.
