Why small businesses should use AdWords

So, now we have told you about all the great things AdWords can do, it’s time to tell you why it’s good for small businesses. It can be a very valuable tool to use!

Financial flexibility

We may aswell start off talking money, because it’s probably the most important factor for any business.  No matter if you’re a million pound business or only manage to turn over a few thousand pounds a month, Google allows anybody to use their platform, regardless of their budget. This is beneficial for small businesses that are not annually turning over massive sums of money. Anybody can get their business out there online without having to spend hard-earned money.

No time restraint

You can stop your campaign whenever suits you. You don’t have to commit to a certain time or contract that tells you to advertise for a certain period. You can advertise for 2 days, or 20 years, it’s completely up to you. This means if you’re having trouble getting the results you were expecting you can stop at any time to prevent spending money that isn’t bringing in customers.


As we mentioned before, you can track pretty much everything you want within AdWords, this allows you to have a good idea of your ROI (Return On Investment). This also allows you to allocate your budget. Google will also give you tips and suggestions on how you can identify what your bid should be for each keyword, this will help you rank higher, or if your ad isn’t showing. These tips can be very helpful to allow you to get better results.


Managing your campaigns on AdWords might not require a large amount of time, but it is very important to at least monitor them on a regular basis if you want to get good results. If you spend a little over an hour a day checking your AdWords campaigns, you can keep track of decent campaigns that will help your businesses visibility online.
