The Internet World Show - Part One

A couple of months ago I wrote an article about a travel exhibition in London, due to that being such a success I am now heading back down to Earls Court in London for another exhibition, this time it's the Internet World Show. 

This show will give me an insight into the goings on in the web world over the past 12 months, and point people like myself in the right direction of what else will happen in the forthcoming year.

Since beginning my career in the digital industry last year, I've been given the opportunity to experience many interesting things and my knowledge about the internet, social media and marketing has increased fivefold. However, I am in still in the learning process and going to these exhibitions is a great way of furthering my understanding of how the internet works.

If we know what's going on in the world in terms of the internet, our customers know what's going on as well. This is why the FDC service is such a thorough one, because we know what we're talking about.

Internet World is the UK's longest running, best attended and biggest annual event for digital marketing and online business. It attracts over 12,000 visitors and more than 300 exhibitors per year. Now the show is in its 19th year, and it brings you everything you need to formulate and implement your online strategy, whether that is digital marketing,e-commerce or content management. The Internet World Show brings together the best of the UK's suppliers and also delivers Europe's largest free education programme. 

Due to the Internet World event being the largest of its kind, the reasons for attending the show are simple. It gives you the chance to keep your fingers on the pulse of the industry, see and understand the latest technology and hopefully give people the insight on how to incorporate it all into their digital strategy.

On Wednesday 11th May and Thursday the 12th, FDC employees will be attending the show, and they will hopefully be leaving with a more in depth understanding of the industry and in future we can pass this on to our clients. Over the two days, my job is to learn, understand and write articles and blog posts about what is going on at the Internet Show 2011, so if you're interested watch out for my future articles on the show.
