FDC Continue to Exceed Client Expectations

FDC were given the news last week that their project with Endless Vacation Rentals was a resounding success. Endless Vacation Rentals is a direct-to-consumer vacation rental business and part of the world’s largest vacation exchange network. They service more than 4 million vacationing families each year by offering access to more than 200,000 properties in over a hundred countries for specified vacation periods.

At the end of 2011, FDC were commissioned to create a web-based incentive related campaign and game that would capture the imagination of their group of travel agents. FDC came up with the competition and web platform called ‘Noel Nudge’.

Noel Nudge was directed at external agents within Endless Vacation Rentals’ broad range of travel companies who could win a range of different incentives; from a £20 pound voucher to a free week in Florida. The campaign went so well that EVR are currently in the process of redeveloping the game with FDC and are currently implementing it in their second ‘nudge/bandit-style’ campaign only two months after the first campaign.

EVR’s sales and marketing manager, Lucy Althorpe, said: “The nudge incentive worked really well for our travel agent employees. They loved the fact it was fun, innovative and there was a competitive streak between the agents as to who was going to win what. We doubled our targeted revenue for the month of December based on our Noel Nudge Incentive and we plan to continue to use this feature for future incentives based on the great response we received.”

FDC have now become the incumbent agency for Endless Vacation Rentals. The FDC remit includes email marketing, web design, development, interactive games, and online agent incentives.
