Originally brought up in Otley, near Leeds in West Yorkshire, Holly decided to up-sticks and head down south to the Midlands to start a new life with her husband.

Strangely when she was growing up she wanted to be a lumberjack, and of all professions this one seems the most obscure. But Holly ensures its true with a nostalgic anecdote: "When I was a child we had a wood burning stove at home and me and my father used to cut down trees that people didn’t want in their gardens so we could burn them at home.”

I’m one of six children, but I was the only one who he could guarantee would be there to help him and due to all the hard work I put in he used to laugh and say that I should become a tree surgeon when I grow up. I just decided that was what I was going to do with my life; luckily though it never became a reality.”

After gaining a degree in Computer Science from the University of Leeds in 2010 she spent the next period as her life working as a developer. She thoroughly enjoyed her time here and the experience she gained was invaluable for her transition to FDC.

Holly also has a keen eye for fashion and is a great admirer of Vivien Westwood’s clothing and designs, and her other favourite brand is Superdry. Now established in the FDC team Holly is now adding her design and development prowess to a range of different client’s and projects.
