Having acquired Capio Healthcare in 2007, which at the time was the UK’s fourth largest private healthcare group, Ramsay Healthcare UK planned to expand its market share by targeting its patients at a local and regional level, which involved migrating its former hospital profiles on the main Ramsay site to their own discreet microsites. .

Having acquired Capio Healthcare in 2007, which at the time was the UK’s fourth largest private healthcare group, Ramsay Healthcare UK planned to expand its market share by targeting its patients at a local and regional level, which involved migrating its former hospital profiles on the main Ramsay site to their own discreet microsites.When this was completed, Ramsay were keen to ensure that these new sites would be found in organic search for their non-brand target keywords

Solution

After successfully winning the contract in 2011, FDC’s digital marketing team were tasked with increasing group monthly traffic by 20% within six months, and ensuring that each of the five hospitals ranked on the first page of the search results for their target keywords.
