Adam has come on board to work alongside Alex Mason and Phil in the SearchSocial department of FDC. And search engine optimisation will become an integral part of his day to day work.

With music a heavy feature within FDC. It seems that Adam will fit in nicely, and with a BA in Music he feels his knowledge on the subject is unrivalled. Previously he has worked in the arts and entertainment sector in a sales and marketing role and he feels that his new position as a Search Marketing Consultant is the perfect step for his development in marketing.

His first job was filing away clinic notes in a local hospital. He didn’t enjoy this period and knew that his career would lie elsewhere.

He says his dream job would be a pilot; “Ever since I was a kid I always wanted to be a pilot when I grew up; I don’t know why but it just seemed like the best career. I used to be hugely excited whenever I got the chance to travel on a plane. To be fair I still do.”

You may not know this but Adam has another string to his metaphorical bow and he states; “you may not think this but I can make possibly the tastiest flapjacks you’ll ever eat.” His recipe for them remains under close guard (we're all looking forward to his birthday when we expect him to make a batch).

In 2010, when Adam was 24, he spent a year living in China teaching English to children. He felt that this was the most rewarding time of his life and would love to go back. He’s even started to teach a little Mandarin around the office. You never know it could come in useful.
